Weekend Fun.

As I said in yesterday's post, we experienced some almost spring-like weather. Someone from the South would probably think it was cold, but around these parts it felt warm. After Saturday's "big" outing, we decided on a low-key picnic and walk to the park on Sunday.

I honestly was bursting with happiness as I felt warmth from the sun spread across my back as we walked. Life is so different with a baby, but I love the way it has pushed us to spend more time doing simple things. And, I guess, not surprisingly these simple things bring so much joy.

Things like watching my baby play with sunglasses.

Zooming down the slide.


Teetering on the seesaw.


Soaking up the sun.




Mommy & Baby love.


It's these little things, after a long cold winter, that bring warmth into my heart and a smile onto my face.

Hopeful Things

For this Friday, I thought I'd share with you a few things that have been making me happy this week. You'll notice a common theme: hope that winter will, indeed, end eventually and spring will arrive.
