The best week ever.

This week has been the kind of week I dreamed of when I envisioned my life as a stay at home mom. What's funny is that nothing spectacular happened. It wasn't a great sleep week. We didn't have any playdates. But it was the little parts of being home with my baby that made it so perfect.

She played happily in the kitchen while I did dishes. She swung the shower curtain wildly while I showered. She giggled and waved in the swing at the park. She took her driving very seriously while I shopped at CVS. I got to lay out during one of her nap times. I was able to get out my spring clothes and put away my winter clothes. She helped me sweep and mop. We fell back asleep together as she nursed one morning. She lit up with glee as her daddy walked in the house each night.

It was just a good week. I was happy. She was happy. We were a happy little pair. Tomorrow I leave her for the longest stretch we've ever been apart as I spend the day at Bloggy Boot Camp. And then Sunday, we get to celebrate Mother's Day together. I'm so excited about the day- a day to honor my most favorite role.

That absolutely is the best! Having a good "sleeping week" is the biggest key to baby blissdom too :-) I can't wait for Spring to be in full swing here! We've had very little sunshine in weeks now. I look forward to taking Cameron out to explore the grass :-)
