joyful: december 5

being able to host people in our home today brought me joy. in the morning we hosted a brunch for dear friends. in the evening we shared dinner with my in-laws. we've been in this house for almost a year and i still feel so grateful to have a space large enough to be hospitable. i love having people into my home, particularly at the holidays. feeding with people, sharing in conversation, watching people delight in my baby- these things bring me joy.
