Gingerbread House

Tonight the hubs and I started what will become a tradition. We made our first gingerbread house together. I got the idea from a friend of using graham crackers, melted white chocolate chips for "glue" and icing for the decorations. It worked perfectly.

We started by making a plan. Chris drew out our dream house and then we set to work.

We had so much fun coming up with ideas for decorating our house and landscaping our yard :) It really does look like the kind of house we hope to buy one day.

I love Christmas! Can't wait to do this next year with little Meredith toddling around us begging for all the candies :)

I think there is a house that looks just like this one down the street. In fact I am sure of it!! Mom

Yes! I think every house needs a couple gumdrop bushes in the yard and a lifesaver sidewalk!

This is adorable! I love the fact that you did it homemade style, without a kit! How fun. This is such a cute tradition to keep with Meredith. I picture her in a few more Christmases begging to make her own house all by herself ;)
