Waking Up

If I had to say whether I am a morning person or a night owl, I'd have to choose morning. But really, I'm am neither. I stink at staying up late and I am loath to get out of bed in the morning. Everyday I want just a few more minutes of sleep and linger as long as possible in my cozy sheets. The only exceptions to this are the first day of school and the day of an early morning plane ride. If I can muster up the courage to just jump out of bed, like ripping off a band-aid, I am always fine. Once I'm out of bed, I am almost always wide awake, but until then I hope and pray for just a little bit more shut eye.

How about you? Are you a night owl or an early bird? Do you hop right out of bed or hit the snooze button until the very last possible minute?

i'm totally neither! i have to be asleep by 11 or bad things happen and if i am up before 8, i'm grumpy. when i was in high school, my bus picked me up at 6:15 AM. THAT was TORTURE!!!!!!

Love the photo. First it made me think of the movie Robin Hood, then I thought that it raised the bar for camping! Wish I could be both...these days I'm going to bed earlier AND loving the snooze button. Better for my health, I'm sure...I feel like what I loose when I sleep "enough" is me time (alone time!).

I always considered myself a "day" person. I can stay up late, but tire easily, and I'm really not a morning person either. So I'll settle for the middle hours of the day. :)
