Weekend Fun.

As I said in yesterday's post, we experienced some almost spring-like weather. Someone from the South would probably think it was cold, but around these parts it felt warm. After Saturday's "big" outing, we decided on a low-key picnic and walk to the park on Sunday.

I honestly was bursting with happiness as I felt warmth from the sun spread across my back as we walked. Life is so different with a baby, but I love the way it has pushed us to spend more time doing simple things. And, I guess, not surprisingly these simple things bring so much joy.

Things like watching my baby play with sunglasses.

Zooming down the slide.


Teetering on the seesaw.


Soaking up the sun.

It's these little things, after a long cold winter, that bring warmth into my heart and a smile onto my face.
